I started looking for these on April Fool’s Day.. here’s something like to read, a collection of jokes about credit.

Here’s the classic one I hear speakers use from the stage all the time…
“A man said his credit card was stolen, but he decided not to report it. The thief was spending less than his wife did.”

Personally, this joke pisses me off… why is it always a Man whose card is stolen and his WIFE that spends a lot. Sexist! But that’s a topic for another blog entirely

back to the jokes…

“Attorney to her client: ‘You have the first case of identity theft I’ve ever seen where the thieves returned your identity because your credit is so bad.’”

“Satan was asked in an interview to describe the foulest deed he’d ever done. After thinking a bit about all of the death and destruction he’s vause over the years, the wars and pain, he replied, ‘well a few years back I did create the credit card.’”

I found this one at jokecenter…

“Sign above the register:
‘Our credit manager is Helen Waite. You want credit? Go to Helen Waite.”

Got any more? I’d love to hear them… post them in the comments.

These are the jokes, folks… I know you’re out there, I can hear you breathing… Reminds me of a line in a Douglas Adams book… Sign at the bar reads: “Please don’t ask us for credit as a punch in the mouth offends.” Not really a joke, but best I can do at 22% a.p.r. :)
